I would like to know what part controls the cold start prosess on the car, because it will not start unless i push on the gas.

Hi Richard,
Starting is affected by the following :
Check Crankshaft Position (CKP) Sensor Operation
Check Ignition Spark
Check Fuel Supply
Check ECM Harness Connectors
Check Sensors
• Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) sensor.
• Manifold Absolute Pressure/Intake Air Temperature (MAP/IAT) sensor.
• Throttle Position (TP) sensor.
• Mass Airflow (MAF) sensor.
• Fuel injector signal circuit.
Check Ignition Timing
Check For Vacuum Leaks

Since pressing the accelerator pedal allows easier starting, the items directly related would be
1. TP Sensor.
2. MAF Sensor
3. MAP/IAT sensor.
