Noises problem
2001 Hyundai Sonata 6 cyl Automatic 197000 miles

my car is making a popping noise when i give press on the gas and also it is acting like it wants to cut off when i come to a stop

Without a clear descriptio of the problem, it is not possible to provide any suggestions.

For the noise, you need to be specific on where the noise is coming from.

As to the engine wanting to cut off when you slow down, it should be the idling system that is malfunctioning.

Is the Check Engine Lamp indicating?
