2000 Hyundai Sonata loud ac motor

Air Conditioning problem
2000 Hyundai Sonata 6 cyl 85000 miles

I believe that a small animal got caught in the AC hose at the interior fan (motor was loud for a few days, just today, animal smell starting to emigrate from that area).

I wanted to know how to dismantle the fan blower unit, and maybe hoses, to get at the "situation." I have no manual--all I am able to get off is the protective plastic panel directly behind and under the glove compartment so as to at least expose the fan motor housing.

Please tell me that I don't have to remove the entire dashboard!!
