Transmission problem
2000 Hyundai Sonata 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 75k miles

I have a car that hesitates and sometimes kicks.when accelerating mostly when the car hit 50-60km/h. The car accelerates fine when steady increasing the speed but when u take your feed off the peddle and then re-hit it acts up like i described above.

I put on computer and this what i got. Camshaft(which i knew before and never fixed it)

Main ones:
P3113
P0307
P0705

How to repair these and what is the estimated cost so i don't get ripped off.

Hi
Would like to help but none of the codes you posted are valid to that car. What type scanner was used? can you recheck?
Let me know

Here are the new codes.

p0340 Camshaft sensor
p0707

Again the camshaft code problem was on for last year or so.

New problem that started less then a week ago.
the car accelerates fine . It steadily goes up when pressing on gas. But when i left my foot and hit the gas peddle again, the car either jumps or rpm meter jumps. For example at 2000rmp then goes to 3000rpm and jumps back to 2000rmp then steady goes up.
First dealer had weird codes and he said it must be transmission but he was guessing from the drive in my opinion.

The second diagnostic tech- did not think its transmission. He drove the car and still did not think its transmission. He suspects its the cam Sensor.

What you guys think? if you need further description i will be able to explain further. My concern is if its cam senor why the car acts now when I knew about it more then year ago? The second code which is transmission range sensor I believe is new.
Thanks. Also, the dealer is charging $260 for Cam sensor part.

The 707 is PNP switch fault park neutral switch on top of trans axle that shift cable attaches. Need to remove cable so can shift with manual lever see diagram

hello,

I had mechanics change the cam sensor. Big problem now. The engine seems to over running. it has terrible accelleration at around 25 mph. But when high speed it flies. I have never seen it with so much power. It seems like it is stock at high gear and struggling in low speeds. Whats wrong? this is new issue it seems?.

Faulty cam I installed? dont know? I am so worried.
Thanks.
