My air cond./heater blower is intermittent. In the morning when it's cool, it works fine. If I stop at a gas station and start up again, it no longer works. On a hot afternoon coming out of work it won't work. The air cond. compressor comes on and the switch works fine when the blower is on. Help.

Thanks

Hi JeffTo,

Does the compressor work when the blower is not?

Most probably the blower motor is taking its last breath soon.

When the blower stops working, give it a few knocks and if it works, change it.

Thanks! Yes the compressor works. How do I access the blower motor?

Hi JeffTo,

Since the compressor works, we can safely say the blower needs to be replaced.

The blower is underdash on passenger side and you don't need to get to it directly. Just reach under the dash and give the plastic housing some banging with your hands. You hve to remove the cover if there is any.
