Electrical problem
1998 Hyundai Sonata 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

I have a 98 Hyundai Sonata. The hazard and signal light stopped working. I checked my fusses they are good. I even changed the flasher which operates the signal and hazard lights. If my hazard light switch is bad would this stop the signal lights from working also? Is there anyway to test and see if the switch is bad?

DeeDee13,

The problem turned out to be my hazard light switch. Did some research and found out that if the hazard light switch goes out it also affects the signal lights. If you have changed your hazard light switch. I went to the salvage yard and found one for $20 dollars because the dealer ship was going to sell me one for $35.00. It is easy to install.
