1992 Hyundai Sonata my hyundai idling low on drive , fuel p

Hi , my question is , when I put it on drive it idles low it seems like it wants to shut off . When I put on reverse it sometimes shuts off . but when its on nutral it seem running well , I am wondering if my fuel pump is going ?
when i drive on high speed is good the minute I go to o on stop it idles lower qnd feels like run raugh and wants to shut off but if I press gas it goes . I am thinking fuel pump since the plugs are good . help , should i replace ?

no , I dont think the fuel pump is the problem. although, the fuel filter could be clogged, I would go ahead and change the filter. but you will also need to take a look at the idle air control valve, this is what keeps your car running when your foot is off the pedal. and a good throttlebody cleaning, you should be ready to go after that
