My Santa Fe (3.5 liter) has been a reliable vehicle so far, but about 10k miles ago whenever we go on trips longer than 20 minutes on the interstate, the heater was not very hot and the fan was not pushing much air. It sounds like it was working to push air, but almost nothing was coming out of the regular vents, floor vents, or defrost even with the fan set at its highest setting. Now it is summer time and on longer trips the A/C is doing the same thing, but both are hot and very cold respectively during shorter trips and when the vehicle is first turned on. I checked fluid levels in the vehicle and it doesn't have any warning lights on, but I thought I would ask someone before I went tearing things apart searching for the problem.

Hi 07GT,

You need to check the venting system for blockages. Check if anything had got in the way of the blower motor air passages.
