hi my name is arsel my chek engine light went on and I whent to autozone and the guy frome autozone told me it was the gas cap i replaced it but my cheke engine light is stel on and i need to pass my emission test what can i do

There may be a leak in the evaporation emission control system .
What you can do is to rescan the system and come back with the code.
The code could help find the system at fault.
