I haven't been driving my car for about 2 weeks, when I got in it today and started it, the motor was sounding very rough and the check engine light came on. Do you know what the problem could be?

If the light came on, there will be a trouble code stored in the computer. Have it scanned to determine what the problem is. Most nationally recognized parts stores will do it for free.
