1994 Hyndai Scoupe, 144,000; My car has been in and outof the shop the last month. The alternator has been replaced one week later a transmission seal had to be replaced now it's not driveable again. I was pulling in to my driveway in second gear and the car just stopped. Everything was still on but when I rolled back (it's a little hill) put it in to first gear nothing happened (except the engine revved up) like I was pushing the gas in neutral or something. I've been told it may be the transmission and these type of repairs are usually very expensive. Is it possible this problem could be anything else?
