1995 Hyundai Sonata 160,000 miles 2.0L
Hello, I am totally ignorant when it comes to cars, so I hope you all can help me out!
I was driving my car the other day and to make a long story short the car had no oil . I realized this about 2 miles from my house. I made to my apt and shut it off. It however started to make a loud clicking sound like a baseball card in the spokes of a bike yet alot louder . I think it is a spun Rod Bearinng. The car still runs , but it still has loud clicking. I haven't driven it more than 20 ft since this happened. I don't want to pay more than 400 bucks for repairs. I think I would rather just get a different car if it would cost more money then that. I was wondering how long it will run like this? What is the cost to fix? Will I hurt myself or anyone else driving with it? Should I try to drive on it? Or Sell It?
Or just call up ecology to come take it. I am not mechanically inclined nor do I have any friends who are so If I had to take it in I would be paying full price! Thanks Dan
