1. 2002 HYUNDAI ELANTRA
2. 63000
3. automatic transmission
4. 2 wheel drive
5. PUT TOO MUCH OIL IN THE ENGINE
6. OIL GOT OUT TO WHERE THE FILTER IS
7. GOT AN OIL CHANGE 2-3 HOURS AFTER

The person at the shop says I now have to have something cleaned out. He unscrewed a large hose connected to a rectnagular metal box connected to the engine and said the hose and the metal box and also the area where the filter is needs to be cleaned or the engine will be no good. He said to not drive the car at all or I will ruin the engine. There is oil visible where the filter is and oil also got onto the filter. So I would like to know is this something I need done A.S.A.P? and also is this something I can do myself or would you reccomend just having it professionally done?
