What would cause a car to shear off harmonic balancers?
I replaced it the first time in December of 2006 and again 2 weeks ago. The outer pulley separates from the bonded rubber. There is no evidence of glazing on the belts to indicate a problem with the other belt driven components.

I just found out that the harmonic balancer I replaced 2 weeks ago is shot again. I am at a loss as to what to do next. These things run about $100.00 each
