clutch problem

my car is a 1997 hyundai excel milage 172737 when i
drive along changing gears usually from 1st to second
the clutch just goes straight to the floor. it rectifies itself usually straight away but for a moment i have no clutch

I own a Hyundai Tucson 4WD diesel car that has done 24000 kms. I have a problem with the clutch. I have to push down the clutch pedal fully to the floor before it gets disengaged to shift gears. While releasing the clutch, car starts to move within fraction of seconds allowing no control at all.
