2002 sonata fuel pump? quit running

2002 sonata 71,534 miles 4 cyl auto trans
I just posted a question reguarding the timing belt I was still testing things on it and I pulled back the carpet in the trunk and traced the wires to what I believe is the fuel pump,(there is a black access door with wires going through it) when I test the wires I don't get a signal on any one of them, key on and off. I checked the fuse under the hood and its good, where do I go from here?

First try directing power to it from the battery to the pump and see whether it will come On. If not replace it. Now for the power-the fuel pump relay only comes on for 2 sec then quit at starting position it will have power-do this No go. check the fuel pump relay
