My car is a manual. I just recently changed out all the brake pads and rotors. When we were trying to get the front right rotor off, which was impossible, someone stepped in "to help" and broke a piece off of the knuckle. I found a used part and had them replace it. The used part was a Knuckle w/ABS, but my car doesn't have ABS. The mechanic assured me that didn't matter.

The car was off the road for a month until it was fixed. As soon as I drove it again, it made a very load noise, almost like a scrapping sound, while turning. The sound went away fairly quickly, but the mechanic was concerned by how tight the left tire was compared to the right.

Ever since I've had the knuckle replaced, I can feel the right tire wiggle/shake as I drive/brake/coast/etc. It's worse when I'm turning. It feels like the alignment is off, but I had the alignment checked and it was fine. The mechanics here can't find anything wrong with it and couldn't feel it when they drove it. I can feel it because I know how this car is supposed to drive.

The car has about 52,800 miles on it.

i would take it to another machanic for a second opinion as it sounds to be something loose such as a tie rod , ball joint or wheel bearing
