You can tell if your CV joints are starting to get bad if you hear a clicking when you turn your vehicle to check it. look at the jack in front end of your car completely off the ground, turn your wheels hard to either left or right, get someone to jam a bar between the floor and the tire to stop tire from moving you could be able to tell what cv joint is gone by doing this.
