Shakes or Wobbles problem
1990 Hyundai Excel 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 80k miles

At 1st it drives fine, but after 15-20 minutes the steering wheel vibrates. At under 35 mph it's not too bad.seeks to be coming from Front drivers side wheel.

Hi there,

This may be a faulty tyre, as it warms up it may be deforming, get this checked first,

rotated all tires, and put a brand new one on the front left side and it still does it. when wheel is off the ground, I can move it sideways about a half inch at the 3 and 9 position.

Hi there,

there should not be any movement, check the tie rod end, steering rack & suspension, if in doubt get a mechanic to check this for you.
