Rear brakes

How do I back off the rear shoes so I can remove the drum. I do not see a slot in the rear plate to use a brake spoon.

No, put that back on and torque it back to spec. These were the two holes I meant:

So the drum is not free from the hub yet, take your big hammer or a three-pound is better, whack the areas between the studs on the drum. Do not hit the studs. If you even think you might hit them, put the lug nuts partially back on to protect them. You'll notice it pop after striking it. This may take a little effort or a Herculean one. Once it pops it should slide off. If it still isn't popping free. Take two bolts and thread them into those little holes and it will force the dum off. Not sure on the bolts size. Pretty sure it's metric and I think 8mm x 125x 50 mmlong...not positive.

Hello,

Unless the rear brakes are seized on the engaged position you should be able to tap around the drum with a hammer and get it to come loose.
