Ok the car was running but over heating then made some puffing noise as I watched the RPMs drooping and raising at idle. Then car die and doesn’t restart now I know that the thermostat was stuck and that why it was over heating. So my question is did the over heating blow the gasket because the oil was in the radiator and engine was empty of oil. Its just that all cases of blown heads I ever heard of was coolant in the oil not oil in the coolant? Any suggestions?

To find out if the headgasket is blown or the head or block is cracked get it block and pressure tested-could also be an intake manifold leak
