I have recently changed the battery on my 04 elantra which then died within 4 days. I then changed out the alternator only to have it die within a day. Took out new alternator had it tested at an auto parts store and it was bad. Got another alternator and the car still wont charge the battery and depending on what kind of charge it has the car dies within minutes. If you are driving then the displays go blank and zero out and then the car sputters to a halt and needs a charge and a jump to keep going. I am wondering if there is some type of fuse or computer chip within the charging system that went out that can explain my situation. If so how can I locate this and how difficult is it to repair as I am not the best at the whole reapair thing. Also if there is a specific name for the fuse or chip that would be greatly appreciated.
