There is a *Clinking* sound under my car.
The clutch, brakes, acceleration, turning, and handling are all feeling good.
It sounds like something is loose and is just hitting against something else. It started a couple weeks ago and it's been getting worse. It's in front of the car, under the stereo area (sounds like).
It only happens when; turning WHILE accelerating from 1-2-3 gear.
It also sounds while on a bumpy road.
I took it in for a Look At.
And the Mechanic said that it's the AXLE SHAFT. That doesn't sound quit Right to me.
Isn't the Axle Shaft IN the TIRE??? The sound is coming ONLY while the car is Shaking (i.e Turning while Accelerating and on a Bumpy Road.)
Would the Axle Shaft Be The Problem?
