2002 Hyundai Elantra setting the timing

U not supposed to it's computer controlled, but there's always away around things if your timing belt's a tooth or 2 off you can manipulate the crankshaft and camshaft to put vehicle in perfect time, but the computer self adjusts so there probably another issue.
