Engine Mechanical problem
2002 Hyundai Elantra 4 cyl
----------------------------------------------------------------
First off where is it located? I've never worked on a hyundai always fords only. Second is it hard to change? Looks fairly simple (looking at the part), but i guess the big question is where is it located? Thanks!

Hi jacknwater,

If you can't find it in the engine compartment, then should be behind the front bumper inside the fenders.

(Here is a guide Below)

Please let us know what you find. We are interested to see what it is.

Cheers

Hi jacknwater,

Yes, it is attached to the bottom of the tank, pull out and plug in.

For those with this in winter, your fluid and pump may be frozen partially or completely, I had just grabbed washer fluid off a store shelf, and turns out it was good only to +32 degrees, lol- poked down into the washer fluid tank with coat hanger to check and found ice, used hair dryer to warm pump and bottom of tank under fender below passenger headlight, then sprayed windshield de-icer into reservoir- might be okay to just use up or pump out or disconnect hose at pump output and add new fluid.
