2001 Hyundai Elantra engine removal

is it possible to remove the engine without removing the transmission or taking loose the sub frame of my 2001 hyundai elantra? how would i get the torque converter unbolted, remove the oil pan?

You should be able to unbolt the trans and the pull the engine through the top. Remove the hood so you have as much room as possible. The torque conver will come out with the engine. Once it is out, then unbolt the converter and remove the oil pan.

it is not possible, the engine is too close to the frame, beside i found out that you can unbolt the torque convertor through the starter hole. but thanks anyway

I figured once it was loose, you would be able to move it around to gain clearance. As far as the converter, yes that is possible, since they don't have the inspection plate below.
