Transmission problem
2000 Hyundai Elantra Two Wheel Drive Automatic

my car wont go over 50mph.once it hist 50 it doesnt want to shift unless you slam the gas.we put new transmission fluid in it and nothing changed.the fastes we got the car to go was 60 and like i said it only goes that fast if you slam the gas.its not a new car it was used when we bought it.the power sterring fluid was leakin but we fixed that.i dont know whats wrong with it.and i could use any help i can get.

Inspect and test all the following listed below:

Oxygen sensor.
Catalytic converter.
Fuel injectors dirty/sticking.
Mass airflow sensor/Airflow meter.
Throttle position sensor.
Manifold absolute pressure sensor.
EGR Valve
Fuel pressure regulator leaking or defective fuel pump.
False air leakage.
Fuel contamination.
Foul/defective spark plugs.
Open spark plug wires.
Ignition coil/Coil packs defective.
Incorrect ignition timing.
Cap and rotor.

Note:If it doesn't apply disregard.
