Engine Mechanical problem
2000 Hyundai Elantra 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 110K miles
Started car on 9/11 and engine was extremely shaky and rough. Car seemed like it wanted to conk out. Very sputtery when I put it in gear to drive and the check engine light is on and flashing. I checked oil and transmission fluids; they are ok. I checked spark plug wires for connection and they are connected. I have gas. The car is much worse on an incline and not so great on a decline. It seems if I drive on a straight road it will at least go forward without so much sputtering. Fuel pump? fuel line? Tune up?????? Help!!! :) Thank you.
