Interior problem
2000 Hyundai Elantra 4 cyl Automatic 121000 miles

when i went to turn the key to the off position, key would not turn off to the off postion, it stayed on accessory position and the battery went dead so then I went in car while battery was dead and the key turned to the off position and came out. I then jumped car started it up then tried to shut car off and key would not turn to the off postion, it stayed on accerssory again, so key only comes out when battery is dead. could you please give me some advice what the problem is?
