My A/C coolant fan does not come on when I depress the a/c button and turn the blower on. Also my radiator fan does not come on forcing my car to overheat. However a gentle tap of each motor gets both fans spinning. I think they may work intermitenly. I was planning on replacing both motors. What do you think?

Hi derrydad,

Don't replace them soon, you should replace them now.

The fan motor carbons have run out and it will create a lot of problems like overheating and non cooling AC.

If the compressor fails to cut off when the system heats up, it can cause high pressure in the system and burst some hoses or pressure relief valves.
