Transmission problem
1999 Hyundai Elantra Manual 140000 miles
My clutch went out in September (138,000 miles) and I had that replaced. About a month and a half later, the transmission was replaced. When the mechanic replaced the transmission he also put another new clutch in as well. Since this time, I have been experiencing intermittent clutch slippage and also sometimes find it a bit stiff when I go to shift. Both problems are only intermittent though and other times the car runs great!. I took it back and he adjusted something with the slave cylinder. Again...everything seemed fine for a week or two and now I have the same problems again. My mechanic brought up replacing the flywheel(?) as this is the only thing that isnt new. What do you think and what should I expect to pay for parts and labor on a flywheel? Thanks guys!
