Engine Performance problem
1999 Hyundai Elantra 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

Hi guys.. I dont know how many miles i have on my car.. probably like 100k or something. However here is my question.

I have a 99 Hyundai Elantra and its been running fine for like a year straight ( with no problems) All of the sudden Yesterday morning i went out to go start it to get ready to go to work and It just turns over and it acts like it wants to start but it wont. I did turn the key only to find out if the fuel pump would kick in and it didn't. So my question is do yall think it could be just the fuel pump or maybe a relay switch somewhere? i tried looking for ( even if there was one for it) a fuse, But there is not one for the fuel pump.

You guys got any ideas?

I have a half of a tank of gas btw.

Thanks
Randy

If you are sure that the pump is not working, remove the tank and pump, check for power to the pump, and replace it if there is.
