1997 Hyundai Elantra Steering wheel shakes violently at 60+

Steering wheel shakes lightly when im driving, and when i drive faster than 60+, steering wheel shakes violently. Ive let go of the steering wheel to see if the car will swerve to one side, but even at that speed and the shaking, the car drives straight. Please help.
