We recently just had an ice storm. I have cleaned out all the ice of my front windshield. When I turned them on on the highway this mroning to clean the salt off the windshield my wipers turned on, stoped in an upright position and i could not turn them back on again. I have not checked the fuse as i was late for work. My questions is, could it just be a fuse, or did somehting happen tot he motor? Thanks In advance.

Check the fuse-if fuse okay listen to the wiper motor if its making a humming noise-no noise you know what that means-but 1st disconnect the connector and look for power-power present-the motor is a goner.

I checked the fuse everything looks ok. I also tested it again, i did here the motor turn on, and if i play with the blades, it pulls it into park position. so i believe that it points to the motor. Thank you.
