My car got a rebuilt transmission 45,000 miles ago. The car has been driving fine, no slipping, grinding or anything that would indicate that anything was wrong. Yesterday morning I was coming off a freeway ramp and the car went out of gear, and never went back in. It is like every gear is nuetrel. The gear shifter goes into every gear, but doesn't move foward. You press the gas in drive and the engine reves but doesn't go foward. I have put 45.000 miles on the new tranny but I drive extensive on 99% freeway. The tranny fluid is pink ( if thats a normal color) and is at appropriate level. I am a female and dont know too much about cars....please help! Thank you!

The trans fluid sounds good. If you have no gears, chances are the front pump or torque converter has gone bad. They both require the trans to be removed for repair.
