Electrical problem
1998 Hyundai Accent 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Manual

The car would not start so I jumped it and the car started. When I brought to the parts store they tested it and decided that it was a bad cell on the battery, bought a new battery and installed and brought it back to the parts store to make sure that it was OK. Further tests showed that the battery was not being charged so a new alternator was purchased and I installed and again returned to the parts store which tested again and showed that the battery was still not being charged and they decided that the "new" alternator was bad and gave me a another new alternator, which has been installed and it still is not charging the battery. Now tests are showing that NO power is being transferred from the alternator to the battery. What else needs to be looked at to fix this problem? This car has no air conditioner we also replaced the sepentine belt during this process. I have checked the fuses in the fuse panel and they are all fine. I have put a new contact on the cable that connects to the alternator, also because the old one was kind of bad I checked the plug in that also attaches to the alternator that controls feed to dash indicator light, but when I start the car this light never comes on to show that it is working nor does it come on indicating that there is a problem with the charging of the battery. What else can I check/do to solve this problem. The parts store has also indicated that it could be a bad ground from the engine block to car frame and if so where is this ground loacted?

There is a fuseable link from the alt to the battery that could be bad. As far as the ground, check the one from the battery and follow it to the engine block.
