HVAC vents stuck on defrost

Air vents stuck on defrost, heat, AC and temperature control work.

Hi Guy,

I attached the process for replacing the Mode door actuator. When these fail the door defaults to the position of defrost. This is a safety precaution so that you always have defrost. We don't want the windows to fog over and have no way of clearing them.

Please let me know if you have any questions but this is pretty common for these actuators to fail so I am confident that is your issue. Thanks.

I understand. Basically, this actuator is just behind the glove box and to the left side. The pictures are showing what needs to be removed to access it. I will look for a video on your vehicle or a like vehicle that will get you a better idea. I did a quick search and didn't find anything. I will dig deeper and post what I find. Thanks
