Cannot get any air through defroster vents, possible mode door actuator?

Cannot get any air through defroster vents. The mode can be changed by pressing "MODE" button and pictorial display changes, but air only comes through the dash vents. The air temperature changes correctly, just cannot adjust where it comes out.

Hi,

The mode door actuator is the likely cause.

If you look below, the first two pics are to help you locate the actuator. The last pic are the directions for replacement.

Before you purchase one, remove the old one and while it is still connected, see if it responds when you change the airflow directions.
