I installed the new actuator switch and it solved my problem but now it clicks four times about every four minutes. Someone told me to remove the switch, disconnect the battery and then install the switch again as it needed to learn the position of the damper. I did just that but it still makes a clicking noise four times about every four minutes.
I then removed the switch but left the wiring harness hooked up and the arm of the switch moves and there is no clicking noise.
I can operate the HVAC door the switch is hooked up to manually.
Is the new switch bad or am I doing something wrong. Very frustrated.
Further to my question, I found out how to run a internal HVAC test by pressing off and floor button at the same time followed by AUTO button. I did receive two codes, 2267 which is P/S blend door actuator and 1264 which is floor door actuator.
I was previously aware that there was no air coming from the floor ducts but I still need to know what I can do about the new P/S blend door actuator that I installed and makes a clicking noise.
