2005 Hummer H3 Removal Of Stick Shift Handle

2005 Hummer H3

I am trying to remove the origianl Manual transmission Shift knob. Is it suppose to twist off, are there clips, is it threaded or other?
Any help would be greatly appreciated

Your H3 is an 06, there was no 05 H3 model. It looks like the knob and lever are one unit. If you lift the console upper trim plate(not boot), there is a set screw that holds the lever on. This info is from GM service info, I myself have never done it.
