How to reset/recalibrate TPMS?

TPMS light came on yesterday morning, checked all 4 tires with an air compressor with integrated gauge, filled air in the only tire with low pressure. Drove 30+ minutes the rest of the day. Checked tire pressure with a different gauge next morning. Drove 30+ minutes the rest of the day. TPMS light is still on.

The car listed above (LX) does not have a screen to access settings nor a TPMS button (near left knee). Is there any way for me to reset/recalibrate it on my own (without mechanic equipment), or is the only option visiting an auto-shop?

Hello,

This is the reset procedure after you replace a sensor or rotate the tire: drive the vehicle for at lease 40 second at speed of 15 mph or more. The sensors IDs will be memorized automatically and system will be reset.

So what you have done should have been more than sufficient.

If this does not reset, then you could have a faulty sensor and the system is not picking up the signal.
Does your vehicle show which is the low tire or an error?

Honda had a service bulleting if the pressures were correct and the light stayed on you should replace the defective tire pressure monitor sensor. Given the year of your vehicle, the battery life expectancy of a TPMS is 10 years, so I would recommend just replacing all of them.

In my years in the business I have seen young technicians just replace the one or two faulty sensors only to have the vehicle comeback again withing days because another sensor went out due to the battery dying off. To avoid this I strongly recommend doing all of them.
