I need to reset carriage control module on car so it can pass county emissions test. Car battery was replaced in April and as a result the under carriage module lost memory.

You need to be more clear on what your asking. Are you talking about the engine control module? If you are how many miles have you driven it since the battery was replaced? Also are saying the monitors are set?

It has been driven about 20 miles since battery has been changed. Can't be driven further until registered to be on road.

20 miles isn't far enough to set the monitors it will have to be driven Alot further. To set the evap monitor you will have to have 3/4 of a tank or more. Can you get a temporary moving pass?Otherwise your never going to get the monitors set.

Honestly it varies from car to car even the same make and models .Some pretty quick some take more time. For the evap make sure it's got a 3/4 tank of gas or fuller to set the evap monitor.
