How to remove crankshaft position sensor cable/plug properly?

The crankshaft position sensor went bad. A friend told me to be extra careful when removing/disconnecting the crankshaft position sensor cable/plug or it will break. How do I remove the crankshaft position sensor cable/plug properly, any videos? Photo attached.

The way to tell how these come apart is to look at the replacement part to determine where they separate. Then if it has a locking tab or clip then they are going to pull off the connector in only one direction. It appears this one pulls off from one of the 2 the larger sides of the connector. I attached a picture below. Please run through this and let us know if you have other questions.

If you can't get it off, put a small flat head under the clip and pry it off and it should pop out as shown by the red arrow on your picture.
