just need to know how to release the jack

Hi,

Do you mean from the storage compartment or do you presently have the jack under the vehicle? Is it possible for you to upload a picture for me to see what you are dealing with?

The jack isn't currently under the car and we know how to retrieve it from the storage compartment. We just need to know how to release it to lower the car. I will add a screenshot of a video which uses the same jack as us.

You will have to remove the handle from the jack. You will use the small oblong end of the handle and fit it onto the release valve.The release valve is located at the base of the jack. To open/release the valve turn counter-clockwise. I've circled the valve in red on your supplied picture.Hope this helps and thanks again for using 2CarPros.
