The "D" indicator light keeps flashing so I had it scanned and received two different codes from two different places (auto parts store and a mechanic). P0977 came from the auto parts store after the mechanic scanned and got a different code at first and then received that code with a different scanner. My question is, where is problem and is there a diagram or video I can follow to fix it?

Car listed above is a DX model.

Hello,

The code - P0977: Shift Solenoid Valve B (Open)

This can be triggered due to a faulty shift solenoid in the transmission. It can also be an issue with not getting proper signal from the PCM.

I have attached the troubleshooting steps for the code P0977 below. Try following those steps to figure out the issue.
