How often do I need to change the transmission fluid and filter?

Based on normal service, the manual indicates the following.
Inspect fluid at 30,000, 60,000, 100,000, 120,000 and so on. It doesn't indicate a specific mileage to service. However, although that is what is indicated, I always recommend every 50,000 miles under normal conditions.
Under sever service, they indicate 60,000 to service and then again at every 60,000 mile interval.
