I HAVE 2 JEEPS, MY 1977 AMC CJ-5 HAS MOTORCRAFT IGNITION (FORD)

IF YOURS LOOKS LIKE MINE IN THE PIC BELOW, IT'S A HALF MOON CONNECTOR THAT SNAPS ONTO THE COILS RIM

GRAB IT ON EITHER SIDE AND SORTA "WORK"/ GENTLY PULL THE FRONT SIDE THEN THE BACK SIDE A LITTLE AT A TIME AND IT WILL SNAP OFF OF THE COIL

A QUICK JERK OF ONLY ONE OF THE SIDES MAY BREAK IT IN HALF

LEMME KNOW HOW IT GOES

DID I MISUNDERSTAND?

ARE YOU TRYING TO REMOVE THE WIRES FROM THE CONNECTOR (NOT THE COIL)?

No, I am trying to remove the wires from the coil. It has a plastic case which I do not want to break.
