Gas tank removal

Hello,

I have a 1997 Ford Mustang and what I do when I drop the fuel tank is partially let it down to remove the pressure on the filler neck and then I move the tank sideways, away from the filler neck, and it should come right out. If needed apply some liquid dish washing soap to the grommet or remove it altogether to make the neck come out easier. I have included the factory instructions for how to remove and install the fuel tank on your vehicle. Please go through them and get back to us with how everything turns out.
