My heater blows cold when I come to a stop. It also isn't as hot as it was. It also has started blowing colder while driving. I cut my truck off and I heard liquid bubbling. So I was told I may be low on antifreeze. So I want to know how to check it and if it's low how do I put more in it

First of all, check coolant when vehicle is cold or serious burns may result. Next is you must remove the radiator cap which is near the front of the engine compartment on the passenger side. It is a large bottle with a screw on cap. Fill with 50/50 dilution of new antifreeze and water. You can crank it and let run with cap off and allow to come to operating temperature to make sure all air pockets are out of the system. Just never remove the cap off a hot coolant system. Once you replace the cap after all air is removed, let it run for several minutes to let the system pressurize and check for any leaks. Many times loose hose clamps can be the culprit of leaks especially when it gets cold overnight.
