Hose at top of water pump leaking

There was what looked like to be a huge leak out of the top of the water pump. We replaced the water pump, radiator and lower radiator hose. Put it all back together and started it up and the leak looked exactly the same. so, it must be the hose coming off the water pump to the manifold?

Can you try to get a couple pictures of the leak so that we can try to be on the same page?

However, based on what you described this sounds like a bypass hose issue which is the hose you are talking about.

The best way to confirm this is to pressure test the system so that we can track where the leak is coming from with the engine off. Here is a guide that will help with this:

Basically, with the engine off it is easier to track the leak because we don't have heat building and the fan remains off allowing better access.
